Glow-y Gossamer Duo And Liquid Fairy Lights #pixiglow

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. This is my first post for a while as I have been crazy busy at work but it was made a lot easier coming home to this amazing pr packaging from pixi beauty. Pixi always spoil me and I can’t thank them enough for everything they send me. I couldn’t wait to share with you their new releases and show you the insane swatches!!

I was lucky enough to receive their GLOW in a box which inside had two of their Glow-y Gossamer Duos and five Liquid Fairy Lights all in beautiful packaging.

Glow-y Gossamer Duo

‘creamy skin-like texture powders create a lit-from-within luminosity that looks natural in any light’

I am obsessed with highlighter and very rarely go without it, I think it is so nice to have a natural glow. These highlighters really are as described above. As you can see from the swatches there are four very natural highlighters which would complement any skin tone.

Subtle Sunrise – the first shade in subtle sunrise is a very golden highlighter and below it is a more bronze coloured highlighter and they both complement each other beautifully.

Delicate Dew – the first shade and also my favourite shade is a frosty rose gold shade and the below it is a deeper rose gold, both incredible and I think this is my favourite duo of the two.

The consistency is so creamy and smooth and they just glide onto your skin. There is no fallout from the powder because it has a creamy finish but isn’t a cream if that makes sense more silky… it is really long lasting and is still visible even at the end of the day. I just love that they leave a natural glow and blends with the rest of my makeup.

Liquid Fairy Lights

‘ultra sparkling liquid eyeshadow with 3D effect to wear solo or on top of any eye look’

So I was completely mesmerised by these eyeshadows. I have never tried a liquid eyeshadow before so I was very intrigued by these ones. I honestly didn’t expect them to be so pigmented, I was immediately drawn to Rose Gold (obviously) and applied a small amount to the back of my hand and took about 100 boomerangs in the sunlight! As you can see from the swatches below they are so sparkly, they dry very quickly and the glitter doesn’t go everywhere like I first thought it would. When I applied it to my eyelid I blended it out with my finger which again was very simple to do and also didn’t go everywhere. You can see the five different shades below with their names next to them. Let me know your favourite in the comments below!

Have you tried any pixi beauty products? Which ones would you recommend?
