I am sure, like me, you would have seen this new Makeup Revolution concealer being talked about everywhere. They launched their new Conceal and Define range earlier this month and there are a mixed range of 18 shades to choose from. You all know how much I love Makeup Revolution so as soon as I heard about it I went straight to my local Superdrug to swatch them all and choose which shade I would be. I was quite lucky as they still had pretty much every shade still in stock so after I had swatches all over my hand I decided on C3, it is one of the lightest shades and it lighter than my foundation so it is perfect for concealer.
As soon as I got home I tested it out, I applied my foundation, Clinique Superbalanced as I normally would and then applied the concealer under my eye in an upside down triangle shape. I also just added a tiny bit on any spots or blemishes I may have. I then blended it all together using my beauty blender and applied the smallest amount of powder just to set it.
My first impressions were that the coverage was AMAZING, bye bye dark circles, it didn’t feel too heavy on my skin and blended into my foundation perfectly. It has a large applicator so you can apply enough of the product in one stroke. You can see how pigmented it is in this swatch here…
I was impressed with how long it lasted on my skin and hardly creased under my eye, which is always a good thing! I think for £4 you can’t really go wrong with this concealer, they do say it is a dupe for the Tarte shapetape but I haven’t tried it so I couldn’t compare.
Let me know in the comments below if you have tried this concealer and what you think.
